Knowing how money leaves is more important than knowing how it arrives, and it is the thing most people check after they need it rather than before.
The normal route
- Let the cycle reach its end. A cycle is a commitment for its published length — the terms are here.
- Request the withdrawal from the wallet page while verification is already complete.
- Allow the published processing days. Payouts and withdrawals are processed Monday to Friday, New York time; a request at the weekend is not lost, it is not yet being worked on.
Early exit
Ending a cycle early is possible and is not free. The published terms set the condition. Read the Terms of Service for the current figure rather than relying on anyone's summary, including this one.
The things that delay a withdrawal
- Identity not complete. Required by law, and the single most common cause of delay. Completing it before you need the money removes the problem entirely.
- A destination address that does not match your account. Use an address you control and have verified. Our exchange guide covers what that means.
- A network mismatch. Sending on the wrong chain is the classic irreversible mistake. Check twice, and read the safety checklist before you ever do.
Have a test before you need it
The strongest protection is a small withdrawal early, when nothing is at stake, so that the first time you do it is not the first time you have done it. It also confirms the address format you are using.
Something look wrong?
Raise it through the Help Center with the transaction reference. A ticket carries your account, balances and the transaction, so it does not have to be re-explained.
